Mario Merz – Untitled (Double Igloo of Porto) at Pirelli Hangar Bicocca, Milan

Until 24th February you have the chance to witness this remarkable work in the cavernous ex-industrial space of the Pirelli Hangar. Originally installed outdoors at Oporto, in its new temporary home it assumes new resonances, with the remarkable industrial structure lending it a newly heroic aspect. All photos by Alexei Monroe.
